A small city hall wedding.  Intimate and just right for these two.  We met up deep in the bowels of Boston City Hall on a gorgeous September day (not that you could tell that deep in a concrete windowless basement, but we took advantage of the lovely day later).  A bride, a groom, and three parents (the bride’s mother unfortunately was unable to travel from California), we waited while other couples went and had their wedding ceremonies.  Finally, it was these lovebirds’ turn.  A short, to-the-point ceremony and they were married (live-streamed by the father of the bride to the mother of the bride back in CA so she could participate as well).

After the ceremony, we went walking — the bride had a notion that the Public Garden was where she wanted to do portraits, so we wove our way around Beacon Hill as we made our way there.  The light and weather could not have been more perfect, and we captured memories of the bride and groom as well as their families as we went.  Here are a few of my favorites from their special day — I hope you like them as much as I enjoyed taking them!
