Child Adventure Headshot Session | Medford, MA

With every client, I always ask if they have somewhere special they’d like to go / that they have in mind, or if they’d like me to suggest some options.  Very often the answer is “Oh, please suggest somewhere!” but every now and then, I get a special request, which I *love.*  This family had booked my “Just a Headshot” session for their son because their school isn’t doing school pictures this year because of the pandemic.  When I asked if they had somewhere they wanted to go, they said they didn’t have anywhere particular in mind, but that they love spots with rocks and trees.  SO, off to the woods we went!  We climbed on rocks, played in the forest, picked up sticks to use as baseball bats, and referenced one of this kiddo’s favorite books — a sweet tale of friendship called Stick and Stone.  We had such a great time, and this guy said that this was WAY more fun than “normal” school photos, which totally made me smile.  At this age (4th grade), kids have so much amazing personality, and it’s a lot of fun to get to showcase that.

Did your school skip school photos this year, but you still want something to send to the grandparents?  Drop me a line!
