Fog Soaked Family Portraits | Lexington, MA
Oh my goodness. This little girl was an adorable firecracker. We had such a nice time in Lexington on a gloriously foggy morning. This little one who happened to be named Mira — how fun is that! I told her I was in high school before I met another person named Mira, and here she was meeting another one at two years old (at which point I learned I’m not even the first other Mira she’s met!). (As an aside, my middle name is Claire, and I recently worked with a little girl named Claire, too — always fun to be able to make a bit of an extra connection!). ANYWAY, this little girl was so fascinated with the stool I bring with me on almost every job (I’m barely over 5′ tall, so I use it to get a better angle for the portraits I take). One of the images below was when she was on the stool — when I say my portrait sessions are child-led, I totally mean it! If she wants the stool, she can have the stool (and I make sure to frame the image so you don’t have my beat-up old stool in your family photos!). Here are a few of my favorites from our time together.
